OPEN POSITION

Full Time Assistant Program Director

Recruitment period: April 11, 2019 until filled.

The Assistant Program Director will work in conjunction with the current Program Director. They will ensures the air quality and appropriateness of all material to be broadcast, assist the Program Director on matters regarding programming.  Work with production and computer programmer to ensure that all material aired is of high quality and aired at the correct time; and develop on-air imaging on an on-going basis.

Assists Program Director will develop promotional ideas for station programming and station, maintain computer automation and sequencing of promotional and sponsorship spots. Build and maintain daily operating Logs and manage overall care of on-air sound as it is programmed into the computer in accordance with scheduled programming.

Assistant Program Director will monitor all aspects of the stations’ sound to ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations relative to air quality, coordinates with other staff and members of stations to ensure smooth and effective programming.

The  Assistant Program Director will posses excellent communication skills and must have a solid relationship with Jesus Christ and is passionate for outreach to the community.

Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred. Proficient in the use of Social Media and  web mail, Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent.  Excellent verbal and written skills, well-versed in all correct spellings and grammar for copy writing/edits. Experience with editing audio files or programming experience preferred but not required. Radio or broadcast media experience preferred but not required.

The person must also be of a good reputation, be reliable, and possess a good work ethic. The applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check. The applicant must be in agreement with Worship Radio Network’s Statement of Faith.
