Know Jesus?

Know Jesus?

You may be saying:

You don’t know what I have done. . .

You don’t know what happened I cannot forgive. . .

John 3:16 –

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 3:23 –

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

 Isaiah 64:6 –

For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Romans 5:12 –

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

Ephesians 2:1 –

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

We were all born with a birth defect, not physical but spiritual – the good news. There is a healer in the house.

How do you accept Christ through Salvation?

It’s as easy as A, B, C.

  1. Admit you are a sinner – confess Jesus is Lord Romans 10:9-10
  2. Believe in Jesus Romans 10:14
  3. Call on the name of Jesus Romans 10:12-13

Take a moment to read the following Scriptures:

Romans 3:23 –

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Everyone ever born is a sinner.

Romans 6:23 –

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin is costly, deadly even.

John 3:3 –

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

You must be born again to enter heaven.

John 14:6 –

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

There is only one way, it is through Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9-11 –

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

Whoever believes in Him, that’s you!

2 Corinthians 5:15 –

15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

He died for you no matter what you have done.

Revelation 3:20 –

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Jesus will only go where He is invited, will you invite Him into your life today?

Remember Jesus is not a party crasher. He only attends by invite only.

Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Am I a sinner?
  2. Do I want forgiveness for all of my sins?
  3. Do I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again?
  4. Am I willing to surrender my life to Jesus Christ?
  5. Am I ready to invite Jesus Christ into my heart and into my life?

If you answered yes to those five questions you can pray this simple prayer

Dear God,

I confess that I have sinned. I am asking that you forgive my sins. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again.

God I give my life to you right now.  I want to live to obey You the rest of my life.

In Jesus name,

Amen.
